A full-bodied Australian red wine blend of traditional Rhone varieties: Shiraz and Mourvèdre grapes. Judicious use of oak wraps around blackberries and some dark spice notes. The wine was aged in second use American oak barrels. Perfect for grilled meats, veal, roast chicken, planked salmon.
Origin: Multi-regional blend, South Australia. From McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, Padthaway and Wrattonbully.
Maturation: Eight months in French oak (10% new) and American oak hogsheads.
Wine Analysis: Alc/Vol: 14.5%, Acidity: 6.4 g/L, pH: 3.61.
Variety: Shiraz and Mataro.
Traditionally fined with egg white and milk and traces may remain. Contains sulphites.
Store in a cool and dry place, avoid direct sunlight.
