Cook in Soup: Soak the Rice Vermicelli in hot water for 3-5 minutes until it becomes soft and loose. Then add it to flavoured soup with shredded meat, shrimps or crab meat; or boil it directly in flavoured soup for about 4-5 minutes before serving.
Stir-Fry: First, soak the Rice Vermicelli in hot water for about 3 minutes, then in cold water till it is thoroughly loosened. After that, add a little groundnut oil, then stir-fried in the pan and add other ingredients. It is delicious and not greasy. Fried: Fry the Rice Vermicelli in heated oil till slightly yellowish. It has a distinctive flavour with congee or stir-fried with meat.
Store in a cool dry place, avoid direct sunlight.
