Connétable is in one of the oldest yet still active canneries that the sardines are prepared by methods used since 1853.They are fished along the Breton Coast during full season when the sardines are at their peak of freshness and ready for canning.They are carefully prepared by hand with respect to traditional methods and laid into extra virgin olive oil to give peak pleasure to consumers from all over the world.These Sardines come from Dournanez in Brittany. Beautiful Sardines are packed in delicious Extra Virgin Olive Oil and are ready to be eaten. The Sardines de Garde are vintage sardines, aged for an entire year in high-quality Olive Oil!
